FAURECIA cooperates with ITA Augsburg
FAURECIA, one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers, has joined the cutting-edge MAI Carbon cluster, which is part of Carbon Composites e.V. at Technologiezentrum Augsburg (TZA), Germany.FAURECIA
The aim of this cooperation is to develop manufacturing processes for the mass production of composite components, which reach the standard mass production cycle times of the automotive industry.
The proximity to internationally recognised research institutions, like the Institute of Textile Technology Augsburg gGmbH (ITA Augsburg), Fraunhofer IGCV, the German Aerospace Center, and the University of Augsburg offers FAURECIA the opportunity to become a leader in the mass production of semi-structural components made out of composite components for the automotive industry.
